Have not posted in FOREVER. Yes I'm sorry. Just have been traveling alot for work and really just don't have much to say. Chris & I went to Disneyland in February. That was tons of fun. I just love going there. I really want to go to Orlando because Chris has never been there.

We put in the new bamboo floors with Chris' dads help and they are beautiful. Very proud of them.

Been thinking about getting a new car, but I just hate the thought of a car payment. Ugh. It is also getting close to that time of year where I need to focus on working out and dieting so that I can be seen in public during the summer. :-)

Chris & I got into Portland yesterday and going to a wedding. We had dinner with our friend Matt and his boyfriend and are currently in our robes waiting for room service breakfast.

We think we are going to start our diet/workout routine again on Monday. Pray for us. The last couple of months have been shame cycle city.

On my way home today I passed a sign like this one. I have never noticed this before, but it made me wonder....where are the Drug Zones? I mean why is this neighborhood so special? I am totally going to get some crack and do it on the curb and when I'm arrested I'm going to ask the cop to remove the sign because I have soiled their pretty little block.

I won't really do that, but what's next? Hooker Free Zone, Homeless Free Zone?

We went and saw the independent film Boy Culture tonight. It was VERY good. I was surprised. It was part of the Seattle Gay Film Festival. Great time! There were about 14 of us that went to Salty's first. Got to meet some great people before heading to the movie.

I am not looking forward to the next month at work. It is our buzy time and I'm just not prepared for it!

We went and saw Little Miss Sunshine with Robert & Kat. LOVED THIS MOVIE!! Go see it!

We had dinner with Lori at Skylark on Friday night. She was as adorable as ever. Last night Robert & Kat came over to play poker....I won. Shocking I know.

I was in Chicago for the past three days (for work). I have been to Chicago at least 5 times, but this is actually the first time that I saw the city itself.

We stayed downtown and it was a nice trip! We went to the cubs game so I can scratch (see wrigley field) off my list of things to do.

Yesterday I thought I was going to go see Pirates because my friend Beylan got advance tickets, but when we got to the theater she was mistaken and the tickets are for next week. D'OH!

So we went and saw Superman instead. I have to be honest. This movie was not on my list of must see movies. I mean Brandon is cute & all, but it just didn't interest me. With that said I LOVED THIS MOVIE!

First off I did not know that Parker Posey was even in it and she was great as Lex's girlfriend. Then you get to see Brandon's chest....NICE!!

I thought it was much better than the last X-men and well worth the money. Hope the make another one. Today I am trying to get motivated to clean house. Hmmmm we will see how that goes.

It is great having 4 days off in a row. On Friday night I went out with the neighbors, Manuel, Larry, Daniel & Elyse. Had tons of fun at Skylark and then we came back home to our place and hung out.

Woke up late on Saturday and just was lazy the whole day. (I did manage to work out).

This morning Chris & I had breakfast and then I'm going to head off to see the Pirate movie with Beylan. At some point this weekend it would be a good idea to do laundry & clean house. I do however have 2 days to accomplish that task.

It is officially too hot to sleep with any clothes on. I think I am about to melt, but I think it's stupid to buy a portable air conditioner for what amounts to one week a year.

At least the nights are not too bad and I'm getting a bit of a tan. The electricity bill should go down since the thought of turning on a light makes me sweat. Yikes!

Thank goodness for an air conditioned office space. My car however (the zipper) does not have air and it is like driving around in a toaster oven.

Today I went to the dentist and got my teeth cleaned yeah! We are going to Beppo's with our friends that we love dearly.

I'm suppose to do the Firecracker 5000 run on the 4th. It is at least a midnight run so it shouldn't be too hot.

I go to L.A. this Friday for the day, but I'm looking forward to the 4 day weekend coming up. Whoot!

We went to the parade today and saw lots of cute couples. Awww just look at them!

It was nice to have the room downtown, but there was way too much time between floats. At one point everyone thought it was over and started leaving and we were really only 1/4 through it.

Nice weather though and lots of cuties.

I have spent most of today on www.cbs.com voting for my favorite Big Brother stars. I know this my sound pathetic to some of you, but I have followed this stupid show since season one. Back when Season one could be viewed if you had AOL (which I did). So I spent may nights watching the chicken george idiot and hoping Britnney would remain in the house (which she did not).

I can name each winner from each season and have only a select people that I am very passionate about. James has become one of them. Was he this hot when he was in the house? I mean I was probably so focused on Kaysar that I didn't pay that much attention to James. I know he is straight, but still! Nice pics James. I have a couple of James pictures on my Flickr page. This is pride weekend. We will probably go to the parade tomorrow. Last night we just hung out with our neighbor Scott and had a couple of drinks. Tomorrow we are going out with Chris' family. We wanted to take them to dinner just because they have done so much for us over the last few years and I just love them all.

His sister is like one of my sisters. Smooches Lori!

Tonight Chris is going to a party that I may or not go. I'm just not feeling like going out. Yes I'm a grandpa, but I also have things to do around the house.

I also need to work out. It's hard trying to get hot or at least not cold!

On Friday night Melanie & I did the Femont Fun Run. Sometimes life is funnier than watching tv. For example my number in the race was number 69. Number 66 was this really hot guy and Melanie & I debated if I should go over to him and say.

"I'm three away from making you really happy"

I didn't....maybe if the karma run gods ever give me number 69 again I will take the responsibility more seriously. At least I didn't get #666 which was on an older gentleman. Probably Satan.

Last night we went and played cards with Robert & Kat. Chris won....as usual.

Today we cleaned house and are having Kat & Robert over to watch the Tony's.

This week I worked out Mon, Wed, Friday, Sat & Sun. I only did a little bit of weights on two of those days. Most of my workouts are just caridio.

I have three runs that I'm thinking about doing in the next month or so. The Breast cancer (may be too many ladies wearing pink), the Swedish Fun run and the Firecracker Midnight Run.

The Fremont run was great because it was at night and then Melanie & I got trashed after the run. Nice...

So last night we went and saw the Pacific Northwest Ballet's "Jewels". Our friend Becky dances with the ballet. She was totally awesome in it as usual!

There were three pieces to the show "Emerald" was boooooring. "Ruby" was my favorite. The music and dance was just kind of fun and not what I'm used to seeing with PNB's dancers.

The last was "Diamonds" which was beautiful, but not as fun as Ruby. Thanks to Becky I have seen many ballet performances and I do appreciate what the hot dancers in tights.

Speaking of HOT Ballet Dancer's - The picture of this little hottie is a guy named Micky Friedmann who is the current cover boy for this month's GENRE magazine. He is a german ballet dancer. My flickr account has a couple more pictures of him. I also have a full frontal shot of him, but that one is just for me. So a few months ago we increased our cable package to include the gay network channel called LOGO. It's pretty cool. Besides playing several gay movies and tv shows, it is full of hotties.

So my job has this little weight competition going on that started back in April and will continue until September. There are 8 of us that put in $50 per person in a pot and in September the person that loses the bigger percentage of their weight gets the month. After one month, I was in the lead.

Next Monday is our next weigh in and I'm not feeling very confident. I have been eating pretty good and I've been working out 3-4 times a week, but I have yet to see a pound drop this month. Maybe I'm stuck. I wanted to get mary kate skinny, but maybe that just isn't going to happen!

So our goal this weekend was to do NOTHING. That was the plan anyway, but it didn't work out that way. We went bowling on Friday for Chris' birthday and I proceeded to drink myself silly. I had tons of fun, but I just rememeber that Chris' mom beat me 2 out of 3 games.

Saturday we did our monthly dream dinners in the morning and then we went and saw Posideon. It wasn't bad, but the story in the original was better. We went with Robert and then after the movie we went to dinner with him.

Sunday we got up early and did the beat the bridge at Husky Stadium. We did the 8k and our time ended up being an hour so about an average of 12 minute miles. The bridge goes up at the 2 mile mark if you are not there at 20 minutes from the start. We turned the corner only to see them lowering the crossing gates. So we had to wait 2 minutes until the bridge went back up. We figure we were about 45 seconds from making it. DARN IT! Next year.

Then after we did the 8k, we went to Home Depot and bought lots of plants and stuff for our back/front yard. We came home and planted everything and then ate one of our dream dinners (the pizza). It's 3:47 and I'm pooped.

So we made it back from our Colorado trip last night. We had tons of fun. I got to eat at Pappadeaux's. It is a cajun resteraunt that I used to get drunk at alot in Texas...uh I mean eat alot at.

It's still not my favorite out of state food experience, but it's up there. I LOVE DON PABLOS. Why lord will you not open a Don Pablos in Seattle?

We stayed at this great resort in Vail called Lodge at Vail (very original name). The place was beautiful but Vail in May is Dead. I'm talking Ghost Town Dead. Besides the locals I think Chris & I may have been 1 of 3 couples staying at the hotel. I'm not kidding. It was like staying at that hotel in the Shinning. I kept thinking Chris was going to start writing on the walls "No Tivo makes Chris go Crazy".

So at first we were like ok so all we are going to get to do this trip is sleep. That's fine. The next day they told us we should drive up to Glenwood Springs. That was very cool. The drive was beautiful and we got there an saw a raft going down the river. So we called the place and they still had a trip going out that afternoon. SWEEEEEET!

So we got to do white water rafting and it was just us, the guide and 3 people that were training to be guides. The water was freezing, but we had wet suits on and with the sun being out it was only cold during the rapids and then we warmed right up. It was very very fun!

Then the next day we did a spa day and that was very relaxing. We got a massage, a manicure and a facial. Nice!

Glad to be home, but I would definately go back!

I also watched the movie Trick for the first time last night. What a cute movie! I love Tori Spelling (Also a fan of her show on VH1).

So our Easter Weekend was very nice. We spent some time with our good friend Manuel. It was his B-day! Then we did the family thing today. It was nice except that Miss Lori was not there to get drunk with so I didn't!

I was kind of shocked that the family forces the little kids to clean up the kitchen. I thought there were child labor laws. I mean come on look how little they are!

Seriously though it was cute that they wanted to do the dishes! Mhmmmmmm if we had a kid we could also train it to do housework. Hhmmmmmmmm!

So last week I was in Phoenix for yet another work trip. Phoenix was pretty in parts. At least the part that I was at. We stayed at the Biltmore Resort & Spa. I didn't get to do much around the hotel, but it was very nice. The grounds were amazing. The place was so large that it took me forever to walk from the lobby to my hotel room.

So I got done with my meetings early today and have dinner with a client tonight. So I have an hour and a half to kill. My cell phone is almost dead and I have nothing to do. So thanks to Hertz & Neverlost, I found the local library and decided to surf the web. I don't dare look at porn sites. The popo station is right next door. So I'll just post and then read emails.

I had to check out of the hotel this morning because I'll be driving to Ventura tonight and staying there. Then I'll check out of that hotel and travel down to Oceanside.

I'm excited about that stay/location.Chris found out that his job does have domestic partner benefits and that the cost would be close to what I already pay for my el-crapo insurance. That is good news! I can finally get some good insurance! Yeah for Chris and his new job! I also decided to be good today and went to subway for lunch even though there was an In&Out Burger next to it.Nothing sucks worse than going out of town for work and coming back a big fatty mc fatterson.

California Trip

So I am in Chino Hills California for my first trip of the year. On our flight down Dan Wells from "Boy Meets Boy" & "Days of Our Lives" was on our flight. He is very cute in person and very tan almost too tan if there is such a thing. He was with his wife who was very cute and her ring was BIG. She also looked very pregnant. Way to go Dan! He had a book of puzzles and was involved in that for the entire flight. He also helped this little old lady who kept trying to grab the wrong bag at baggage claim and he smiled, but not a mean smile. He had that "oh this little old lady is so cute" smile. It made me like him. He didn't talk much with his wife though so maybe there is still hope that he will come to our side.

None-the-less - I LOVED him on Days of Our Lives and wish they could find a way to bring him back... I hope he is doing well and gets work so he can afford to be in first class. It is a shame he had to travel in coach. :-)

We are staying at an Embassy Suites. It's a nice one and I have a bedroom & living area. One of the nicer ones I have stayed at. Usually I stay at some dives. This one isn't so bad. Nora & I played cards the entire flight and tonight. We play cribbage for money $10 a game and $1 a point. We play all year and pay up at the end of the year. I'm currently down like $214.00. I'm not worried. I have 10 months to get that back!

We took Scott out for a neighbor's bachelor party and we had tons of fun. Well we had fun last night. Today I'm paying for it physically. We've been sick all day. Chris is still in his robe. We ended up doing 10 drinks. (Chris ended up at 8 - and still threw up today).

I am aware that drinking this much in one night is not a smart thing. The only thing I can say is at least we didn't drive.

The night started out just find at Tini Bigs in Seattle. Then to the Twilight Lounge, Sonya's, Capital Club and finally ending up at the Chapel on Capital Hill. All great places and all should burn in hell for serving us that much booze.

Throughout the night we may have done some things that we are not proud of. I would like to get those apologies out of the way now.

To the gay couple trying to enjoy their date at some restaurant on 1st Ave - Greg & Christopher would like to apologize for walking past the window 3 times to check you both out.

To the Monsos family - Doug would like to apologize for corrupting your son and causing him to become a cigar smoking, booze drinking boobie looking lush.

To the bartender at Sonya's - Greg would like to apologize for hitting on you even after it was obvious that you were straight. He would also like to apologize for walking behind the bar to attempt to hug you or just get closer. We know that this is not allowed and we appreciate you NOT kicking us out.

To the patrons of Sonya's - Greg would like to apologize for just approaching your tables and making conversation.

To the couple at Sonya's that appeared to be on a date - Christopher would like to apologize for assuming the guy was gay and having his picture taken with him.

To the bartender at Twilight Lounge - All of us would like to apologize for staring at your boobies and forcing you to take a picture with us. Thanks for being a trooper.

To the birthday girls who held a private party at the Twilight - We ALL apologize for crashing the small private room with our drunken behavior and basically making all of your party leave the room.

To the workers at Lusty Lady - We ALL apologize for our loud behavior while at your establishment. To those who were trying to get off in the private booths - Christopher & Doug would like to apologize for being crammed into one booth and laughing hysterically and shouting "Oh my god that is so gross" while you were probably enjoying the porns.

To the patron at the Lusty Lady - Chris would like to apologize for knocking you over for his attempt to escape while squealing "My eyes my eyes".

To the establishments Capital Club & Chapel - Christopher, Doug & Possibly Scott would like to apologize if we may have thrown up at your facility and well we will just leave that alone.

To the Cab drivers - We are sorry, but we probably over tipped you so get over it.

To our livers - We are paying for it today.

To Christopher - Doug would like to apologize for getting grabbie. This could also apply to Greg or Scott. I really don't know who I was feeling up.

And finally we would like to apologize to Deja Vu. All of us were loud and obnoxious when we came into your place. Doug would like to apologize for asking if we get a discount because we are gay and don't really want to see anything anyway. Greg would like to apologize for touching the hostess and getting her to say in a firm voice. "Did you just touch me?" Followed by. "Goodbye Guys Goodbye"

Who knew that 4 gay guys and a quiet bachelor could get kicked out of Deja Vu. I hope everyone had fun. I did even if I'll never be able to drink again.

Who am I kidding? We plan on doing this all again as soon as we can!

So the family has been shipped off to Palm Springs. So far the oldest son (17) broke down and cried when Ty showed up. He says it was because of all the hard work his mom and done and he is just so happy to see her get something in return. I think it's because he knows he is getting a laptop and a big screen tv. Who are you fooling you big baby.

Then the mom cried when she talked about how she made the promise to help all the animals so that they would be treated right.

2 cries and I'm holding strong. maybe I'm heartless, but come on you let like 30 dogs walk through your house. I can't even imagine the stink. No tears from me yet. This episode better increase the sap or I may make it through without crying.

So I have yesterday's episode on Tivo and my challenge to myself is to get through this episode without wanting to cry or kill myself. Let's see if I can do it.

I have just wanted the "introduction" with that god awful song that they consider their theme song. Seriously it has to be the worst show introduction ever.

The family of this episode is this this family of 5 that rescue animals and their house has become a crap shack. (Shocker: So far it doesn't involve a dead family member or someone that has become disabled!) I don't really feel sorry for this family. I mean they are broke because they rescue animals....big deal. I mean good for them for doing that, but hey if you can't afford to fix your house maybe you should stop adopting all of those horses? just a thought.. last time I checked my family would be more important to me than a cow, but hey you are on Extreme Home Make Over and I'm not so maybe these Texan Hicks are smarter than I am...hmmm ok 5 minutes into the show and I'm not crying yet....this could be the episode!

So our lesbian neighbor two houses away let's her dog out in the early morning hours to do his business on city property and she doesn't walk him (no leash) and she doesn't clean up after him. Even though the city recently put a trash can, little baggies to pick up the poo and a "Must Leash & Pick Up after your dog sign"

BAD NEIGHBOR.

Now normally I wouldn't care. I think it's gross, but whatever. But this lesbian is EVIL. This summer our other neighbor cleaned out the garden and put some of the leaves, branches down in the ravine. It was city property and the lesbian saw him do it and came running over and yelling at him. We heard it and it was one of those crazy yellings that backwood rednecks do...

Picture Kathy Bates in misery, but even uglier. She was like "this is city property and I'm going to turn you in. How dare you do that"

I'm sorry, but I would rather be walking around a city property and step on some leaves instead of stepping on your dog's crap you psycho.

So I have these pictures. I don't want to be evil, but I'm thinking about doing one of the following. Let me know which one is the correct thing to do.

1. Make a poster using the picture to get all of our neighbors to hate the psycho lesbian.

2. Make a flyer just for the lesbian and put it on her door that says. We have pictures of your dog and if you let him out again to poop on public property we will turn you in.

3. Call animal shelter

4. Invite the dog over and then take him to Bellingham and drop him off.

5. Start pooping on her front porch and see how she likes it.

6. Do nothing, but imagine how great 1-5 would be to do.

Oh My Internet

The internet has really proven to be a valued friend of mine. It rarely lets me down. For example I was looking for an old personality test recently and I finally found it thanks to the internet. Now it took me about 2 hours to find it and I had to try searching tons of ways, but I finally found it. Then today our tivo cut off like the last 30 seconds of "Two and a half Men" and I missed the punch line of a silly joke. The kid in the show says, "There are these two muffins sitting in the oven next to each other and one muffin says 'holy crap it's hot in here' and the other muffin says" (Tivo goes bing) I was like uh what's the punch line. Thanks to my friend the internet I was able to find out the other muffin says "Holy Crap it's a talking muffin!"

Thanks internet you are not just for porn. (at leat on Monday nights).

From the "Things I hate in this world Department"

I hate this damn show. I feel like a 50 year old woman going through menopause everytime I watch this show. I seriously want to have an emotional breakdown during every episode. I predict that all of the people who work on this are on some serious meds. D.E.....D.E. Depressing!
I know what you are thinking, "but it is so uplifting seeing what they do for these families". Yes it is uplifting after their (Spouse, Child, Mother, Father or all of the above) end up (Dying, unable to {walk, talk, see, hear or move without breaking a bone}), or being homeless due to (fire, flood, hurricane, gang violence or now MOLD). I mean seriously D.E.....D.E. Depressing!
For once I want them to just pick a family that hate their house, but can't afford to fix it up. How about one where all of them are still alive and instead of giving them 30 flat screen tv's they just give them one that works? And you know it's only a matter of time before we are going to have an entire season of homes being built for the hurricane victims and that won't be D.E.....D.E. Depressing at ALL!

I could just stop watching, but then I wouldn't be able to have my weekly cry.
Seriously I'm calling my doctor tomorrow to get some Zoloft and I blame ABC & Ty.

So today was spent with Chris' family. Each year we all go pick out a Christmas ornament and then we stuff ourselves with as much food as we can handle. At the end of all of our travels Lori & Josh played a quick game of Mad Lib. I thought it turned out pretty good, but I'm curious on why they would put their gifts in Lori's panties.

Event Attendees: Kat Hazzard (Hostess), Robin Barre, Nanette & Thadeus Brown, Robert Erlewine, Doug Bradshaw & Chris Monsos.

We had our first meeting of the L.E.S. and it was a great success! Everything turned out great and we were able to come up with a name for our cooking club. We are very proud of it!

The next meeting is tentatively set for January 21st. The Theme will be “Brunch Food” and we will attempt to learn how to make a frittata. (Recipe to be decided upon). The location will be at Chris & Doug’s place in West Seattle.

Red Velvet Chocolate Cake

Unsalted butter for cake pans
2 1/2 cups cake flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups canola oil
2 large eggs
1/4 cup red food coloring (use 1-3 tablespoons more to make even redder)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons white vinegar

1. Heat oven to 350. Generously butter two 9x2" round cake pans. Sprinkle with flour and tap out the excess; set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, salt, and cocoa; set aside.

2. In the bowl of an electric mixer combine the sugar and oil, and beat on medium speed until well combined. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add food coloring and vanilla and beat until well combined. Add flour mixture, alternating with buttermilk, scraping the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula as needed.

3. In a small bowl, mix baking soda and vinegar until combined. Add to batter, and beat for 10 seconds. Evenly divide batter between the prepared pans.

4. Bake 30-35 minutes (or until done). Transfer to a wire rack to cool in the pans for 5 minutes. Remove from the pans, and return to the rack to cool completely. Frost with your choice of frosting. I used Cream Cheese Frosting.

So the boyfriend (hunkdujour on livejournal) wants to apply to be a tivo ambassador. If he is selected he will win this cool tivo car. Not to be out done, I plan on buying a scion and installing fake bread to the top and complete the toaster look. My license plate will be "butter it".

I saw this in a magazine when I got my haircut last month. I think this ad is pretty cool and I don't even care who it is for.

So this week hasn't been all that bad. It has been busy, but it is starting to slow down. I still have a little bit of a sore throat, but it's getting better. I'll be able to take some time off soon and we will have a replacement by January 1st. Yeah!!

Chris got his car back from the hit & run he was in and our TV show airs this Sunday. I'm not sure if I want people watching it, but if you want to see me 20 pounds heavier than knock yourself out.

Thanksgiving

Turkey Day is my favorite holiday all year. I just love sitting around and eating! This year was nice, but not one of my favorites. I have been sick all week and last night I had to end Thanksgiving II early because I got ill. Hopefully I will get another chance to stuff myself at Christmas! It was still nice seeing everyone again this year and hanging out with family & friends! Here are a few pictures before I got too sick to party!

MVP Status

So I am 333 miles short of being an MVP with Alaska Airlines, but my return flight from New York has not been posted. I think I'll make it! The east coast trip was fine, but I remember why I left the city. Too crowded, busy & dirty. I prefer Seattle. At least here it rains so much that it washes away all the dirt.

I am totally sick right now. My throat has been killing me for 2 days. I went to bed last night at 7:30 and I woke up at 8:00 this morning. I'm still tired. I have to do some employee meetings today and then we are going to interview the replacements for the girl I worked with.

Some news on that. So she went to "lunch" yesterday and didn't come back. She just left a message for the HR that her baby got sick and she just wasn't going to come back. She didn't bother to tell us. We kept waiting around for her to come back and she never did. Bye Bye Psycho.

Speaking of psycho's so the boyfriend & I were driving home on Saturday night (We were in different cars and I was behind him). As he was about to turn left a car ran the light and hit him. The car slowed down, but didn't really stop. We both followed the driver thinking that he was looking for a place to pull over, but he never did. We both followed him for several blocks while on the phone with 911. 4 police cars finally pulled him over and arrested him. It was all very exciting.

There Is Justice in this world

So a woman that I work with turned her notice in on Friday. She will no longer be working with me in two weeks. I couldn't be happier. The thing is that I liked her as a person, but she is a compulsive liar. Not little white lies, but big lies and she can't help it. Here are a few of her lies that she has told me over the past 2 years.

* I have a tumor and that's why I'm gaining weight (She was pregnant)

* I am pregnant, but I'm only carrying this for my best friend and her husband they can't have kids.

She admitted the "best friend story" was a lie and replaced it with:

* I got pregnant, but I wasn't keeping it. There is a gay couple that will be adopting it. (She still has the baby last time I checked). This gay couple went from a black couple to an black & white couple.

* The baby's daddy is ______________ (I'm not joking I'm still not sure who the dad is)

* Doug, I'm doing fine. I just had the baby. She is so cute. Yes I'm holding her now, but she is asleep (This was a phone conversation - Turns out the baby wasn't born yet for another week).

She has admitted that most of the above were lies and yet she always expects me to believe her when she tells me something like "Yes I called the client back" or "Yes I put that in the mail last week". Really? Cuz I'm suppose to believe you because....

Anyway I could rant for days, but it's over.....she is finally leaving. Thank goodness. Two more weeks and I'll be rid of the liar. I hope she gets plenty of mental help.

Back from Cali

So I got back last night from California. I stayed in Buena Park & Hayward, so I was able to hit Northern & Southern California. I think I prefer Northern. Not just because of all the gays and there were several of them, but it just has a cleaner feel to it. Yes yes I realize that downtown S.F. has 4 billion homeless and trash on every corner, but I got to stay outside of the city. I stayed where everyone drives 85 on a 55 mph highway and there is a chain resteraunt on every corner. Very generic, but nice. It makes me really appreciate Seattle. So far in life (other than NY) I haven't found a place I would rather live.

I did get to stay at a hotel with a kick ass bed. I love having 6 pillows and a down comforter. So my next trip is next week. I will be in New York & Philly. I'll be there from Wed - Saturday. I'm hoping for good weather!

So the boyfriend and I have been on diets for about 2 months. We weigh in every Sunday at 3 on the good old bathroom scale. So why do we decide to go out for breakfast on weigh day? I'm thinking it's because we are stupid. Just a guess, but I'm thinking not so smart....not so smart.
